Born on 1st April, 1949 in Gumel, Gumel Local Government Area, Jigawa State, Engr. Gumel attended the prestigious Technical College Kano, between 1961 and 1966 graduating with distinction. He proceeded to the elite Civil Engineering Institute, Kiev in former Soviet Union from 1970 to 1976, where he obtained Master of Science (M.Sc.). I am a dedicated Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in Infrastructural Development, Project Management, and Sustainable Design. I bring vision, precision, and leadership to every project I handle.
Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel Foundation undertook several youth empowerment initative programmes aimed at changing the lives of Gumel Emirate Youth and Jigawa State as a whole, by training them on various trades and cadres such as Tailing, Knitting, Fahion and Design, Fabric Making, etc.
Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel Foundation deeply partake in philanthropic activities within and outside Gumel Emirate, in areas such as giving scholarships to students, donations to disaster victims, making a monetary gift, construction of schools, construction of essential sturctures such as culverts, ect.
In addition to the numerous activities carried out by Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel Foundation, the foundation also heavily participate in sporting activities by mbuilding an unltra modern sport centre in Gumel where numerous sporting events normally takes place.
